Prior to founding Boreal Ventures, David worked at BDC Capital where he helped manage a $135M early-stage venture fund. Before he joined BDC, David spent 4 years in management consulting and strategy at KPMG-SECOR, where he supported executives on investment decisions, strategic planning and post-merger integration.

Olivier joined the Boreal Ventures team in 2021 as Director of Operations. After completing his studies in business administration at McGill University, he began his career at KPMG in the audit team before joining the Transactional Services Strategy team. As one of the co-founders of the KPMG Ventures program, Olivier has been involved in the Montreal startup community for quite some time. Drawing on his professional background, he plays a key role in the implementation of several strategic initiatives aiming to position Boreal Ventures at the epicenter of the Deeptech ecosystem in Quebec, in addition to identifying the most promising companies with the potential of changing tomorrow's society.

Sam joined the Boreal Ventures team in 2021 as Director of Finance. Prior to joining Boreal Ventures, Sam was part of the KPMG audit team for a number of years, where he managed mandates for clients in the financial services industry. Sam graduated from HEC Montreal with a Bachelor in Business Administration and holds the CPA designation. Sam plays a key role in fund performance reporting, investor relations, and fund operations.
